Garza is responsible for managing City National Rochdale's US group of portfolio managers and support teams, reporting to Bruce Simon, City National Rochdale's chief investment officer.

With more than 20 years of investment management experience, Garza most recently served as a senior member of BNY Mellon Wealth Management's Southern California management team. In this role, he was responsible for managing and leading a portfolio management team that served high net worth and ultra high net worth clients, as well as representing the firm's investment strategy.

City National Rochdale provides portfolio management services to high net worth individuals, families and foundations. It manages nearly $26 billion as a registered investment advisory firm headquartered in Los Angeles and New York City.
